For a few months now I've had a desire to create a blog. I don't quite know where to start but I know that I have a lot to say. I'm a licensed cosmetologist and have been since 1992. I worked in salons for 10 years and decided to return to corporate America after obtaining my degree. Eleven years have passed and I'm ready to return to my first love...hair/beauty/fashion!
In September of 2011 I decided that I'd return my hair to its natural state. So I transitioned for 8 months and chopped my relaxed ends off of my natural hair (my last relaxer was August 2011). Initially the road wasn't easy, and even now I have my moments of frustration when I wonder, "What am I going to do with this hair?".
Nevertheless, here on Kinky Curly Chronicles you will receive the good and the not-so-bad when dealing with hair (textures, maintenance, styles and health).
